Fun, Fun, Fiesta!

Waking up at 7:30 this morning after 2 hours of sleep, i had pretty low expectations of the day. As Ben began his new favorite activity of stair climbing, i began to feel even more frustrated. When we finally made it as high as we could go in our house, we sat down to play. Before i knew it, everyone had joined us and we re-discovered Sean's car collection under his bed. Who knew this could prove to be so much fun! Ben jumped right in...literally and we began our favorite pastime of sorting and having a car "pick-off."



We never actually get around to playing with the cars...all of our time gets taken up with sorting and picking our favorites.




We then headed off to the other Thompson house for a great Sunday dinner and birthday fun. So many laughs is the only way to describe these dinners...at least this time the conversation remained pretty innocent! Sean and Lila emptied the snack cabinets and turned the living room and kitchen into a grocery store (i think they stole my debit card in the process...) and Ben had so much fun riding on Sean's wooden horse and eating his first ice cream sandwich. There was even some great fiesta ware to add to my collection and a birthday card that made me laugh out loud.
All this fun on 2 hours of sleep.
