Turning 31 has been great so far. The kids woke up before me and found jason who had just finished night work. they were running all around with excitement (he had given them coffee which always helps). however, ben and i managed to sleep in until about 9 and we were greeted by happiness. there were flowers, presents, coffee (for me) and the most hilarious and loving cards ever. there was even my favorite bagel warming in the toaster. it was wonderful. even jason stayed awake after being up all night. next we headed over to mom's for a great dinner. it was so relaxing and we all had a great time.
ben had his first real tastes of nanny jean's, now mom's, chocolate cake. it was the best. he thought so, too.
