cold days, warm hearts...

Well, the snow came. Here is a picture of our snow covered hammock that was so recently used on that great spring day. Its funny to think that just last week Sean and Ben were swinging in the warm sun!
The kids got ready to go out and play in the snow but quickly came back when they realized how cold it was! I decided to stay indoors with Ben and try to learn how to knit and then teach the kids. Sean chose not to wear a scarf and proclaimed that "the next scarf I wear will be one I knit myself!" Good luck to us. Here is my first attempt...









I didn't get very far with knitting, but we had a good day. Hopefully this is the last snow and Sean can finish his scarf by next year.
